Photowalk with Stephen Lake

Stephen was one of the first photographers to submit images for Dutch Street Magazine.
We've been trying to meet up ever since. It took a while, but today we finally succeeded.
We met at his favourite Friedhats Fuku café in Amsterdam West. Over a good cup of coffee we talked for a while about street photographers, books, workshops and even though we know that is not the most important thing, also about gear. We all love our gear right?
Stephen shot analogue today. So I can't show his images here yet.
Even though it was raining, we were outside for a while. From West we walked to the Center. But we lazily took the tram back.
I really enjoyed seeing how Stephen works with his metering and isn't afraid to shoot people at close range. Not in a hurry, just quietly up close.
