I don't talk about gear that much. But this month it feels like a lot is changed after my switch of weapons.
My Ricoh GR IIIX had a lens error after a drop in August. I didn't want to buy a new one and because I'm such a fan of my Lomo LC-A, I thought I'd only shoot film for a while. But I miss the everyday snapping (digital, because film is simply too expensive).
So I bought a second hand Ricoh GX 100 for €50. With the IIX and its 40mm I often missed shots. The 24mm on the GX 100 is just great. It's also has a built in Flash, experimenting with this now and I love it.
Although I've some more expensive bigger camera's - for me compact camera's are my thing.
I thought it was a hype - CCD sensors. But from my experience so far, I do see a difference in the CCD and CMOS sensors. I also love the low resolution and colours. The not perfect shots. I always add more noise and grain in my images - but that's not necessary anymore.
Also the black and white outcome from this works perfect for my personal documentation.

Some first shots during a morning walk.
