Photowalk with Rini Braber
2023, July 7
Today I had an appointment with Rini Braber, we started at Amsterdam Central Station and had a long walk through the city.
We've seen it all in the upcoming 4 hours, Red Light District, Nieuwmarkt, Waterlooplein, National Holocaust Names Memorial, Magere Brug, Munt, Bloemenmarkt, Spui, Begijnhof, Oudemanhuispoort (Book Market), Dam and last but not least we took the ferry to A'Dam Tower and Eye Film Museum.
Rini was shooting with his Canon and 18-135mm. Although I had my Fuji X100V with me, I sticked to my Ricoh GR IIIX.
Rini takes the time to make a good compensation. And the nice thing is that he looks at the light and reflections much more than I do. That's why I'm really curious to see what he made.
Lately, Rini has been looking more to put people at the main topic of his images, where previously they were more of a part of his street scene.
Soon we should shoot in his city. From the Dutch Street Magazine there are more people from The Hague who also like a photowalk together.
